Игра The British Parliament

Цель: развивать интерес детей к изучению английского языка.

Задача: повторение и обобщение изученного материала по теме "The British Parliament".

Оснащение: карточки с заданием; карточки с вариантами ответов.

На доске - название игры и тема, карточки с заданиями и варианты ответов. Карточки с заданиями представляют собой карточки из плотной бумаги, на внешней стороне указана «стоимость» вопроса - по мере возрастания сложности - от 100 до 500 баллов, на внутренней стороне напечатан вопрос на английском языке.

Учащиеся отвечают по очереди, чтобы в игре участвовали все ученики, а не только сильные и активные. Ученик выходит к доске, выбирает вопрос, снимает карточку и читает вопрос вслух, запрещается переводить вопросы на русский язык. На обдумывание дается не более одной минуты, затем ученик должен назвать один из предложенных вариантов ответа. Если ответ верный, то ученик забирает карточку, если нет - крепит обратно. Другой ученик имеет право выбрать карточки, на которые прозвучали неправильные ответы. Задача учащихся - набрать как можно больше баллов.

Игра проводится в течение одного урока (45 минут). В конце урока проводится итог игры: набравшие более 500 баллов получают оценку «5», 400 - «4».

Вопросы к игре составлены только по информации текстов уроков 5 - 7 о Британском парламенте.
