Brother Rabbit, His Friends and Enemies

Театрализованное представление " Brother Rabbit, His Friends and Enemies" основано на материале североамериканских сказок и предназначено для учащихся 4-го класса общеобразовательной школы, а также (с небольшими изменениями), для обучающихся классов VII вида (коррекционных классов). Сценарий представления возможно реализовать по окончании темы "Animals" в качестве материала для повторения, активизации и углубления лексических и грамматических знаний, умений и навыков или внеклассного мероприятия на неделе английского языка.

Цель мероприятия: реализация коммуникативного и социокультурного аспектов.

Задачи: привлечение детей в театральную и интерпретационную (основанную на аутентичном материале) деятельность; развитие мотивации к изучению английского языка; воспитание чувства дружбы и взаимопомощи.

К театрализованному представлению дети готовятся заранее, так как в нем предполагается креативный подход к аутентичному тексту, а именно: постановка танцевального и вокальных номеров, звуковое сопровождение.

Персонажи: Братец Кролик, Братец Лис, Братец Медведь, Братец Сарыч, Колдунья-Крольчиха, Белочка, Сестрица Куропатка, Братец Гремучий Змей и для массового исполнения песни и танца - любые другие дикие животные Северной Америки. Место проведения - актовый зал в школе. Декорации: пенёк, искусственные цветы и деревья. Оборудование - магнитофон, караоке, интерактивная доска.

Scene I

Щебет птиц

Brother Bear: All the animals who lived in the wood and field said "Brother Rabbit is very clever".

Brother Rabbit: But that was not enough for me. I want to have more sense.

Sister Turtle: Yes. Brother Rabbit needed more sense, because he is the smallest and weakest animal in the wood.

Fox: The strong and cruel animals can easily catch him and kill him.

Brother Rabbit: Only one person can help me. It is my old Aunt Mammy-Bammy. She lives far away in a deep, dark swamp.

Sister Turtle: She is a Witch-Rabbit and she is very, very wise.

Scene II

Brother Rabbit: It was very difficult to get there. I'm very tired. I must speak now (сказал Кролик сам себе). Aunt Mammy-Bammy, it was a very long way, but I'm glad that I am here at last.

Aunt Mammy-Bammy: Son Riley Rabbit, why so? Son Riley Rabbit, why so? (голос из-за кулис).

Brother Rabbit: Aunt Mammy-Bammy, I need your help. (из-за кулис идет дым)

Aunt Mammy-Bammy: Son Riley Rabbit, why so? Son Riley Rabbit, why so? (голос из-за кулис).

Brother Rabbit: I am not clever enough, Aunt Mammy-Bammy. The other animals will catch me soon. Please, Aunt Mammy-Bammy, give me more sense. (непродолжительное молчание).

Aunt Mammy-Bammy: I'll do it for you. But first you must do something for me. Do you see squirrel in that tree? Go and bring it her to me, son Riley Rabbit, Riley.

Brother Rabbit: I haven't much sense, but I think that I can catch her. Where is my bag?

Scene III

(Кролик выбрасывает еду из мешка и кладет в него камни, подходит к дереву, а затем стучит камнями.)

Squirrel: (выглядывает из-за дерева)Hey! (Кролик снова стучит камнями, белочка подходит ближе) Hello! (белочка подходит ещё ближе) Who is that?

Brother Rabbit: Dicky Big Bag!

Squirrel: What are you doing there in the bag?

Brother Rabbit: I'm cracking nuts.

Squirrel: Can I crack some nuts too?

Brother Rabbit: Of course, Sister Bunny Bushtail. Come down and get into the bag. ( Белочка боязливо кружит вокруг Кролика, звучит тревожная музыка, но затем залезает в мешок, Кролик её завязывает в мешке. Выходит из-за кулис Крольчиха-Колдунья)

Aunt Mammy-Bammy: You are a clever man, Son Riley Rabbit. But I want another thing from you. Get me a feather of Brother Buzzard's tail. Go and get it and be quick, Son Riley Rabbit.

Scene IV

Brother Rabbit: I don't know how to get that feather. (Садится на пенек и думает. Выбегает Братец Лис).

Brother Fox: Why are you so sad, Brother Rabbit?

Brother Rabbit: I have to get Brother Buzzard's tail and I don't know how to get that feather.

Brother Fox: Don't worry, Brother Rabbit, we are good friends, I help you. (шепчутся, смеются , Братец Лис ложится на сцену)

Brother Rabbit: Brother Fox is dead! Brother Fox is dead! Hey, people, Brother Fox is dead! (выходят животные )

Bear: Let's carry Brother Fox home.

Turtle: Yes, you are right, let's carry Brother Fox home.

Brother Rabbit: Oh, no, dear friends, we must wait for Brother Buzzard. (Залетает Братец Сарыч, становится около Братца Лиса, опустив голову. Звучит тревожная музыка. Братец Кролик подкрадывается и выдергивает у Сарыча хвост, убегает. Звучит музыка погони, звери танцуют, как будто прячут Кролика. Все разбегаются. На пустую сцену выходит Кролик и Колдунья-Крольчиха. Кролик протягивает ей хвост Сарыча)

Brother Rabbit: Now give me some more sense, Aunt Mammy-Bammy.

Aunt Mammy-Bammy: Son Riley, You have already more sense than anybody else. I cannot give you any more sense , unless you do one thing more for

me. There, at the edge of the swamp, lives Brother Rattlesnake, and I want his poison-teeth. Go and get it and be quick, Son Riley Rabbit.

Scene VI

Выходят все звери.

Brother Rabbit: Brother Fox, how can I get Brother Rattlesnake's poison teeth?

Brother Fox: I don't know. I cannot help you this time, because Brother Rattlesnake is a very dangerous person. (уходит. Звучит грустная музыка. Кролик думает, затем достает из-за кулис шар коричневого цвета. Тем временем Медведь комментирует его поступки)

Bear: Look, he found a gum-tree and made a large ball of gum!

Sister Partridge: When you cut the bark of a gum-tree, it gives you much gum, and then gum is very sticky.

Bear: Yes, Brother Rabbit knows this very well.

Brother Rabbit: (подходит к Сестрице-Куропатке) Dear Sister Partrige, give me some of your old feathers. I want to make something pretty. (Под веселую музыку Кролик прикрепляет перья к шару. Звери с интересом следят за процессом.)

Bear: It will be very dangerous for Brother Rattlesnake's poison teeth.

Sister Partridge; You're very clever, Brother Rabbit, this gum-tree ball looks like a small Sister Partridge. (Все, кроме Кролика, уходят. Звучит таинственная музыка, Кролик ставит чучело куропатки, прячется. Из-за кулисы выходит Змея , шипит, хватает чучело куропатки и делает вид, что у нее увязли зубы, не может двинуть головой.)

Brother Rabbit: Brother Rattlesnake, what is the matter with you? ( Змея только шипит и трясет головой)

Brother Rabbit: The only way to get free is to break these teeth.

Brother Rattlesnake: Break them! ( Кролик выковыривает у Змеи зубы ножиком и все уходят).

Scene VII

Brother Rabbit: Aunt Mammy-Bammy, I've brought you Brother Rattlesnake's teeth.

Aunt Mammy-Bammy: Well, Son Riley Rabbit, you don't need any more sense. I'm not going to give you any more , because you have too much already.

Bear: If he has too much already, and if he has more, he'll be dangerous to all animals in the woods and fields.

Brother Rabbit: I am wiser than my old Aunt Mammy-Bammy.

Brother Fox: You couldn't do anything for you , and you did everything that she asked.

Sister Partridge; You felt very proud of yourself. You quite forgot yourself.

Aunt Mammy-Bammy: (Взяла Кролика за шею и потрясла его) Never forget yourself, Son Riley Rabbit, Never forget yourself, Son Riley.

Turtle: Life will teach you some more lessons, and you will become really.

Brother Rabbit: I know my friends and my enemies now and nobody can deceive me any more.
