Цели урока: Повторение изученного материала по теме «Animals»;

Развитие навыков диалогической речи;

Повторение правил употребление времен в косвенной речи;

Ход урока

I.Фонетическая разминка:

Teacher: What animals are mentioned in the tongue-twisters you have learnt?

Pupils: A swan, a parrot, a dog.

T: Right. Let's repeat them together

Ученики повторяют скороговорки из предыдущих уроков хором и индивидуально.

Swan swim over the sea,

Swim, swan, swim!

Swan swim back again.

Well swim, swan!

II.Сообщение цели урока

T: Do you like animals? I'm sure you do. Today we are going to talk about pets and animals.

You will visit a pet shop and choose one of the pets.

III. Проверка домашнего задания

T: But first I want to check your home task. Have you made the questions?

Ask the questions to your classmates.

Ученики по очереди задают и отвечают на вопросы.

Примерные вопросы учащихся:

-What does it mean "to be ecologically clean"?

- Why is it important that people's habitats should be ecologically clean?

-What may cause serious diseases?

-Why are nowadays a lot of children born weak?

- How can you describe the modern way of life?

-What about your way of life?

-Do you walk a lot? How many hours a day do you spend watching TV?

-Why are people turning into legless creatures?

T: Thank each other, please. The questions and answers were excellent.

IVПовторение лексики по теме «Animals»

На доске написаны название животных:

1. A rabbit 8.a sheep 15. A tigers

2. A turtle 9. A parrot 16. An emu

3. A hamster 10. A tortoise 17. A panther

4. A mouse 11. A spider 18 a leopard

5. A squirrel 12. A deer 19 an ostrich

6. An elephant 13. A cuckoo 20. Cheetah

7. A lynx 14 a lion

Учитель раздает ученикам картинки, на которых изображены эти животные.

T: Look at the picture and match them with the words on the board.

После того, как ученики выполнят задание, учитель напоминает им об образовании множественного числа у некоторых слов,

например: A mouse-mice

A deer-deer

A sheep-sheep

VТренировка в ответах на вопросы

T: Open your book at page 91 . Read and answer the questions.

The words on the board can help you.

Ученики самостоятельно письменно отвечают на вопросы, а затем слушают запись и проверяют свои ответы.

VI Восстановление диалога

T: Have you ever been to a pet shop? What animals did you see there?

Ученики называют животных, которых они видели в зоомагазине.

T: Look at the picture on page 88. What animals can you see in the pet shop?

P: We can see a monkey, fish, a parrot, a tortoise, a hare, a snake.

T: Work in pairs and complete the dialogue between the customer and the shop assistant.

Примерный диалог:

• Good afternoon. Can I help you?

• Yes you can. I'm looking for a pet for my daughter. What would you recommend?

• What kind of pet would she like? Something usual or exotic?

• I'm not quiet sure. I know she wants to have a snake or crocodile, but she isn't going to have one.

• How about a monkey or a turtle?

• Hhmmm. They are not s friendly as dogs, are they?

• No, but they are very clean and they eat less. Then maybe you'd prefer a bird, a parrot, a canary, for example.

• Which would you recommend?

• Well, you can teach a parrot to speak.

• But parrots speak too much and too loudly. I would like…..

Несколько пар учеников читают свои диалоги по ролям вслух. Сильные учащиеся разыгрывают диалог.

VII Тренировка в употреблении косвенной речи

Ученики пересказывают содержание диалога по цепочке, используя косвенную речь.
