Theme of the lesson: I have friends every where

Aims of the lesson: Enrich pupils` knowledge about Kazakhstan, Russia, The

United Kingdom, Korea and India. To teach pupils to talk

about the traditions of these countries

Develop skills of pupils` communication in two languages

Kazakh, English

Develop motivation of further mastering of English, continue

to acquaint with traditions and customs of Kazakh, Russian,

Indian, Britain and Korean people, bring up pupils to be

patriots of their motherlands. (Слайд 2)

1. Greetings

2. Introduce rules of the lesson

Teacher: we have five teams.

1 team: Kazakhstan

2 team: Russia

3 team: The United Kingdom

4 team: Korea

5 team: India

The teacher introduces to the pupils with the rules of the lesson.

Teacher: We have three rounds. They are:

I round: Be acquainted with me

II round: Traditional cuisine and dresses

III round: Traditional dances

In the I round I show to the pupils the pictures about the countries (Kazakhstan, Russia, The United Kingdom, Korea and India) and the pupils of each team should give more information about that countries.

4. Korea (слайд 9)

5. India (слайд 10)

Pupils should say about the flags, about the area, about the populations and about the capitals of Kazakhstan, Russia, The United Kingdom, Korea and India.

II round (слайд 11)

In this round, pupils should give us more information about the traditional dishes and traditional costumes of those countries. I show to the pupils the pictures of traditional dishes and traditional costumes of Kazakhstan, Russia, The United Kingdom, Korea and India
