ХОД МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ

Ведущий 1: Good afternoon dear pupils and guests. Most children and grown-ups like to read and think that books are their best friends. We think so, too.

1: "Take Me Back To Bookland"

Please, take me back to Bookland, Ev'ryone's happy there. It's more than a girl and boy land, Where dreams, just like books, can be shared.

If you believe in Bookland, Believe in things that you cannot see; All the world would become a Joyland, What a wonderful world this would be!

Ведущий 2: I like reading tales

About witches, ghosts and fairies.

About kings and princes

Living in castles and everywhere.

Their adventures are great and exciting.

Especially when the pirates are fighting.

Ведущий 1: Dear friends, today you will role-play a fragment from the famous English fairy tales. Welcome to the magic world of the English literature!

Ведущий 2: The fairy tale " Cinderella " by Charles Perrault

6-A

Little Red Riding Hood

Author: Once upon a time there was a small girl called Little Red Riding Hood. She lived with her parents beside a deep, dark forest. In a cottage on the other side of the forest lived her grandmother. And in the deep, dark forest lived a big, bad wolf.

Mother: "Grandmother's poorly. Please take her this cake. But don't stop on the way!"

Author: So Little Red Riding Hood set off through the deep, dark forest. On her way she met a big, bed wolf.

Wolf (smiling): "Good day, my dear! What are you doing here?"

Red Riding Hood: "I'm going to Grandmother's to take her a cake".

Author: The wolf had a plan.

Wolf : "Wouldn't your grandmother like some of these flowers?"

Red Riding Hood: "What a good idea!"

Author: And she stopped to pick a big bunch. Meanwhile, the wolf ran through the deep, dark forest. At last he arrived at grandmother's cottage.

Wolf :"Hello, Grandmother!" "It's Little Red Riding Hood."

Grandmother: "That sounds more like the big, bad wolf."

Author: The wolf went in. He looked all around, but there wasn't a sound.

Wolf : "No one's here. Never mind. Little Red Riding Hood will be along soon."

Author: Quickly the wolf put on Grandmother's dressing gown and nightcap. Then he hopped into bed and pretended to nap. Soon Little Red Riding Hood knock-knock-knocked at the door.

Wolf : "Hello, Grandmother". "It's Little Red Riding Hood."

Grandmother: "Come in, my dear."

Red Riding Hood: "Oh, Grandmother!…What big ears you have!"

Wolf : All the better to hear you with, my dear".

Red Riding Hood: "And Grandmother, what big eyes you have!"

Wolf : "All the better to see you with, my dear".

Red Riding Hood: "And Grandmother, what big teeth you have!"

Wolf :"All the better to…GOBBLE YOU UP!"

Author: Just then, a woodcutter passed by the cottage. He heard a growling and howling… and he dashed inside. With one SWISH! Of his axe he killed the big, bad wolf.

Red Riding Hood: "Mother was right. I'll never stop again on my way through the forest!"

Ведущий 2: Thank you. This bear loves to write poems very much, but most of all he loves to visit his friends.

«Winnie-the-Pooh visits his friend Rabbit» by Alan Alexander Milne

Winnie-the-Pooh was walking through the forest one day, humming proudly to himself.

Tra-la-la, tra-la-la,

Tra-la-la, tra-la-la,

Rum-tum-tiddle-um-tum.

Tiddle-iddle, tiddle-iddle,

Tiddle-iddle, tiddle-iddle,

Rum-tum-tum-tiddle-um.

Suddenly he came to a sandy bank, and in the bank was a large hole.

W.P. "Aha! If I know anything about anything, that hole means Rabbit and Rabbit means Company, and Company means Food»

So he bent down, put his head into the hole, and called out:

W.P. "Is anybody at home? Is anybody at home?'"

Rabbit "No! You needn't shout so loud. I heard you quite well the first time."

W.P. "Isn't there anybody here at all?"

Rabbit "Nobody."

W.P. "There must be somebody there, because somebody must have said 'Nobody». Hallo, Rabbit, isn't that you?"

Rabbit "No,"

W.P. "But isn't that Rabbit's voice?"

Rabbit "I don't think so,"

He took his head out of the hole, and had another think, and then he put it back, and said:

W.P. "Well, could you very kindly tell me where Rabbit is?"

Rabbit "He has gone to see his friend Pooh Bear»

W.P. "But this is Me!" said Bear, very much surprised.

Rabbit "What sort of Me?"

W.P. "Pooh Bear."

Rabbit "Are you sure?"

W.P. "Quite sure," said Pooh.

Rabbit "Oh, well, then, come in."

So Pooh pushed and pushed and pushed his way through the hole, and at last he got in.

Rabbit "You were quite right," It is you. Glad to see you."

W.P. "Who did you think it was?"

Rabbit "Well, I wasn't sure. You know how it is in the Forest. One can't have anybody coming into one's house. One has to be careful. What about a mouthful of something?"

Pooh always liked a little something at eleven o'clock in the morning, and he was very glad to see Rabbit getting out the plates and mugs.

Rabbit "Honey or milk with some bread?" he was so excited that he said

W.P. "Both, but don't bother about the bread, please. More, more, more…I must go».

Rabbit "Must you?" said Rabbit politely

W.P. "Well, I could stay a little longer -- if you -- " and he tried very hard to look in the direction of the larder.

Rabbit "As a matter of fact, I was going out myself directly."

W.P. "Oh well, then, I'll be going on. Good-bye."

Rabbit "Well, good-bye, if you're sure you won't have any more."

W.P. "Is there any more?" asked Pooh quickly.

Rabbit took the covers off the dishes, and said,

Rabbit "No"

W.P. "Well, good-bye. I must be going on."

So he started to climb out of the hole. He pulled with his front paws, and pushed with his back paws, and in a little while his nose was out in the open again . . . and then his ears . . . and then his front paws . . . and then his shoulders. . . and then --

W.P. "Oh, help! I'd better go back. Oh, bother! I shall have to go on. I can't do either! Oh, help and bother!"

Rabbit "Are you stuck?" he asked.

W.P. "N-no, Just resting and thinking "

Rabbit "Give me a paw."

Pooh Bear stretched out a paw, and Rabbit pulled and pulled and pulled....

W.P. "0w! You're hurting!"

Rabbit "The fact is you're stuck."

W.P. "It all comes, of not having front doors big enough."

Rabbit "It all comes, of eating too much. One of us has eating too much and I knew it wasn't me. Then there's only one thing to be done. We shall have to wait for you to get thin again."

W.P. "How long does getting thin take?"

Rabbit "About a week"

W.P. "But I can't stay here for a week! What about meals?"

Rabbit "I'm afraid no meals, because of getting thin quicker."

W.P. «No food!!!!»

Рooh managed to get out

Rabbit «I am very glad that you got out»

W.P. «Thanks, I will come tomorrow»

Rabbit «But…»

Ведущий 1: Thank you boys and girls. True love can defeat all the charms and spells and turn the terrible beast in the charming Prince. And how this happens you will see

"The Beauty and The Beast"

Author: Once upon a time as a merchant set off for market, he asked each of his three daughters what she would like as a present on his return.

Merchant:" What would you like as a present?"

The first daughter: "I would like a brocade dress".

The second daughter: "I would like a pearl necklace."

The third daughter: "All I'd like is a rose you've picked specially for me!"

Author: When the merchant had finished his business, he set off for home. However, a sudden storm blew up, and his horse could hardly make headway. Suddenly he noticed a castle.

Merchant: "I hope I'll find shelter there for the night. Oh, what a beautiful rose bush!"

Beast: "Ungrateful man! I gave you shelter, but now all the thanks I get is the theft of my favourite flowers! I shall put you to death for this slight!"

Merchant: "Forgive me! Forgive me! Don't kill me! I'll do anything you say! The rose wasn't for me, it was for my daughter Beauty. I promised to bring her back a rose from my journey!"

Beast: "I shall spare your life, but on one condition, that you bring me your daughter!"

Author: So Beauty was led to the castle. In the beginning, Beauty was frightened of the Beast, but the days passed, and Beauty and the Beast became good friends. Then one day, the Beast asked the girl to be his wife.

Beast: "Will you marry me?"

Beauty: "I really can't say yes." "I'd so much like to..."

Beast: "I quite understand! And I'm not offended by your refusal!" "

Author: One day, the Beast found her weeping beside the magic mirror.

Beast: "What's wrong?"

Beauty: "My father is gravely ill and close to dying! Oh, how I wish I could see him again, before it's too late!"

Beast: "No! You will never leave this castle! But if you swear that you will return here in seven days time, I'll let you go and visit your father!"

Beauty: "I swear! I swear I will! How kind you are! You've made a loving daughter so happy!"

Author: In reality, the merchant had fallen ill from a broken heart at knowing his daughter was being kept prisoner. When he embraced her again, he was soon on the road to recovery. Beauty stayed beside him for hours on end, describing her life at the Castle, and explaining that the Beast was really good and kind. Then one night she woke from a terrible nightmare. She had dreamt that the Beast was dying and calling for her. When Beauty arrived the Beast's eyes were shut, as though dead. Beauty threw herself at it and hugged it tightly.

Beauty: "Don't die! Don't die! I'll marry you . . ."

Beast: "How I've been longing for this moment! An evil witch turned me into a monster and only the love of a maiden could transform me back into my real self. My dearest! I'll be so happy if you'll marry me."

Author: The wedding took place shortly after and, from that day on, the young Prince would have nothing but roses in his gardens. And that's why, to this day, the castle is known as the Castle of the Rose.
