открытого урока английского языка в 6 классе

по теме «Summer or winter?» («Лето или зима?»)

Цель урока: обобщение полученных знаний, умений, навыков по изученному разделу с помощью использования техники кооперации.

Задачи:

1) обобщить лексико-грамматический материал по изученной теме;

2) развивать умение понимать иноязычную речь на слух, аргументировать выбор, реагировать на речь собеседника, выделять главное в потоке информации;

3) воспитывать любовь к природе, взаимопонимание, культуру поведения и общения.

Учебные пособия и оборудование: компьютер, экран и проектор, презентационный мультимедийный ряд, сюжетный наглядный материал, дидактические карточки-задания, листы учета, словарные слова.

1. Организационный момент.

Учитель приветствует учащихся, сообщает специфику занятия и форму работы. Каждому учащемуся предстоит примерить на себя роль определенного времени года (осень, зима, весна, лето). И, исходя из имеющейся информации, предлагает определить тему урока. Учащемуся 1 предлагается продекламировать правила работы на занятии, учащемуся 2 поработать переводчиком для всех остальных.

Учитель: Good morning, dear boys and girls. I am glad to meet you again. Today we are going to work in four groups. Their names are "Autumn" ,"Winter"," Summer" and "Spring". First let's repeat our rules. Who can read and translate them:

- Cooperate with other people in the class;

- Work quietly at your desk;

- Raise your hand if you have something to say or need help;

- Follow directions;

- Respect others.

Учитель: Very good. Don't forget about them during our English lesson.

2. Актуализация знаний (лексико-грамматический материал).

Учитель предлагает учащимся представиться от имени своего времени года и перечислить месяцы, входящие в их состав. Для предварительной подготовки учащимся раздаются дидактические материалы, которые учащиеся в течение минуты заполняют для своего сезона, а в ходе ответов других учащихся заполняют информацию об остальных сезонах.

Учитель: And now I'd like captains to introduce yourselves and your seasons. Who are you?

Ученик 1: I am winter. My months are December, January, February. I am frosty and cold. And who are you?

Ученик 2: I am spring. My months are March, April, May. I am warm and sunny. And who are you?

Ученик 3: I am summer. My months are June, July, August. I am hot and bright. And who are you?

Ученик 4: I am autumn. My months are September, October, November. I am cool and rainy.

Учащимся предлагается проверить правильность своих ответов. Каждый ученик получает шпаргалку-ориентир, оценивает корректность выполнения задания (самооценивание).

Учитель предлагает вспомнить каждого учащегося качественные прилагательные, при помощи которых ребята описывали каждое время года. Учащиеся называют их. Учитель просит каждого учащегося описать время года соседа с использованием рассмотренных прилагательных. Ответы записываются на доске и в тетрадях.

Проводится конкурс на скорость узнавания и расшифровки рассыпавшихся слов-прилагательных о погоде. Каждый учащихся получает индивидуальную карточку с заданием (время работы - 3 минуты).

По истечении указанного времени учащиеся обмениваются работами с соседом-одноклассником, получают от учителя ключ к упражнению, осуществляют взаимоконтроль, сообщают оценки учителю.

Учитель осуществляет актуализацию стихотворного материала, изученного на предыдущих занятиях. Учащиеся работают в групповом режиме. Дети делятся на - подгруппы. Группа 1 собирает стихотворение, заменяя знаки-картинки на слова. Группа 2 восстанавливает правильную последовательность букв в соответствующих словах.

Учитель обращает внимание учащихся на суффикс - y у прилагательных и особенности образования прилагательных от существительных в рамках темы "Времена года. Погода". Учащиеся выполняют задание во фронтальном режиме на смарт-доске.

Учитель: I'd like to know what season you like best and why?

Ученик 1: I like winter because there is much snow on the ground. Kids can play snowballs in winter. The weather is always frosty in winter.

Ученик 2: I like spring because there are many puddles on the ground. Boys and girls can jump outside in spring. The weather is often rainy in spring.

Ученик 3: As for me, I like summer. There is much water. Schoolchildren can ride a bike outside in summer. The weather is always hot in summer.

Ученик 4: And my favourite season is autumn. There are many leaves on the ground in autumn. Children can skip outside. It is usually cool in autumn.

Учитель: Good of you. Some pupils of your class are ready to tell you an interesting tale about Snowgirl.Listen to them and then be ready to answer to the questions.

Учитель: I'd like you to act out your dialogues. Listen to each other.

1.- This is an awful day.Look, it is raining.

- Yes, it is dreafful.But the snow is melting at least.

2.- I am home today.

- Why? It is warm outside.

- Yes, but it is foggy. I hate fog.

3. - I am happy! There is sunshine today. It is marvelous!

- Yes, it is wonderful. This August is fine.

4. - This winter has been very cold. It is freezing.

- Oh, I like frost and snow.

- I like them, too.But it is 7 below zero. It is a Siberian winter.

The Snowgirl (a Russian folk tale)

An old man and old woman haven't got any children. It's winter and it's snowing. The old man comes to the yard and makes a girl out of snow. She is beautiful and she smiles at the old man and says:

"I will be your daughter". They go home together.

The old man and the old woman are very happy. They love their daughter and she loves them. She helps them a lot. She tidies the house, cooks breakfast and dinner, lays the table, washes the dishes, sweeps and washes the floor and waters the flowers. She is very clever.

The snowgirl has got a lot of friends. It is spring now. It is warm and sunny. One day her friends come and say:

"Snowgirl, come with us! Let's go for a walk in the forest! ".But she says:

"Oh, no, thank you! I can't go for a walk. I'm not well".

But her friends say:

"Please, Snowgirl, come with us!"

And they go to the forest. They make a fire and begin to jump over the fire.Snowgirl jumps over the fire and the moment she is above the fire she isn't a girl any more.

Her friends look for her and shout:

"Snowgirl, where are you? We can't find you!"

But the Snowgirl doesn't come and they go home without her.

Summer

This season is the hottest. The weather is usually sunny and warm. The days are long and the nights are short. Children can be outdoors all day long. The rivers and the lakes are very warm. Kids can swim every day. It is a beautiful season. The trees are green. You can see many flowers in the parks and forests. They are blue, yellow, red and pink. Birds sing their beautiful songs in the parks and in the gardens.

Spring

This is a very beautiful season. The weather is often warm and the snow is melting. So there are many streams and puddles. Kids have a lot of fun watching them and sailing toy boats and ships. Birds come back and sing their beautiful songs. Kids spend a lot of time outside.

Winter

This season is the coldest season of the year. The days are the shortest and the nights are the longest. It is cold and frosty, but children like this season because they can ski, skate, play snowballs. There is snow on the ground; there is ice on the rivers and animals. They are cold and hungry. Children can help them.

Autumn

This season is not very warm. It is sometimes cold and rainy. But it is a very beautiful season. The trees are very bright and colourful. Their leaves are green, yellow, orange, pink, red and brown. It is a tasty season because it is harvest time. There are many fruit and vegetables.
