The theme of the lesson: «My Home» Part 2

The aims of the lesson:

1. Educational: to use too much/many in sentence.

2. Practical: to develop speaking habits and writing skills.

3. Bringing up: to appreciate your time and to do everything in time. Methods of the lesson: explaining, questionnaire, individual work.

Visual materials: Student's book and pictures.

Skills: speaking, writing, listening.

Procedure of the lesson:

b) Checking up the home task

Grammar practice:

Important tip:

Much - is always used together with an uncountable noun (like "oil" or "water").

Many - is always used with nouns that are countable (like "table" or "computer").

Too - is followed by an adjective and we use it to express that there is more than the amount required; it has a negative sense.

  • The coffee is too hot, I can't drink it. (It's hotter than I want).

  • I'm too sleepy, I can't drive. (I can fall a sleep if I take the car).

  • Please, turn the radio down, it's too loud. (Louder than I like).

Enough - can be followed by a noun or after an adjective. We use it to express just the right amount.
