The theme of the lesson: Kazakhstan.

The aims of the lesson:

  1. To enrich pupils` knowledge about Kazakhstan; to teach to work creatively;

  2. Find information while reading the text; to develop oral and written speech.

  3. To bring up patriots of their Motherland.

Methods: AKT, RWCT

The procedure of the lesson:

  1. Organization moment.

Good morning, pupils!

How are you?

Who is on duty today?

I am on duty today.

Who is absent today?

All are present.

Now, let`s begin an our English lesson. (Сынып екі топқа бөлінген.)

  1. New theme:

I want to start our lesson with the words of Byron: 'He who doesn`t love his country he can love nothing '. That`s why today`s our lesson is called "My Motherland".

Brainstorming. Now look at the interactive board and give your associations to the word "Kazakhstan".


T: today we are going to speak about our Motherland - Kazakhstan. The lesson begins with the state anthem of the republic of Kazakhstan. (Оқушылар орындарынан тұрып, хормен Әнұранды орындайды.)

The Republic of Kazakhstan is situated in the Central Asia. The area of Kazakhstan is 2753000 square kilometres. Its population is about 16 million. The largest cities are Almaty, Karaganda, Shimkent, Pavlodar and Astana. Astana is the capital of the Republic. Kazakh is the official language of the country. Kazakhstan has its own national flag and anthem and national holidays.
