My hobby.

Different people like doing different things. English people say: "So many people, so many hobbies". Hobby is something that you like to do in your free time.

Many people like to collect different things: stamps, badges, coins, magnets, pictures, toy cars and so on. Collecting stamps is easy and interesting. It is real fun; you begin to learn a lot when you start to collect stamps. Some collectors specialize on one subject, for example birds, animals or sport. These collections are called thematic.

But collecting things is not the only hobby people can have. Some people are fond of travelling or gardening. Many boys and girls are fond of sport, it is their hobby. Some people like to take pictures. Women are often fond of gardening and cooking, some men like fishing and hunting.

Many people like going to the theatres and cinemas. If you want to enjoy a play, you buy tickets, come to the theatre and find your seats. The curtain rises and you can see the performance and listen to beautiful music. Cinemas are very popular. In cinemas you can watch different films: comedies, musicals, detective and feature films.
