Раздел 2.

Тема: Описание картин «Времена года»

Цели:

Обучающие - совершенствование навыков монологической и диалогической речи, развитие способности осуществлять речевые действия, умения составлять предложения, описывать времена года.

Развивающие - поддержание интереса к изучению английского языка, развитие внимания, памяти, развитие мышления (сравнение, классификация, осознание поставленной цели).

Воспитательные - воспитание уважительного отношения к окружающему миру, бережного отношения к природе; формирование эстетического вкуса, повышение интереса к изучению английского языка; воспитание культуры языкового общения.

Методическая цель: Применение наглядной презентации по изучаемой теме с целью обеспечения иллюстративного материала урока, интенсифицирования учебного процесса.

Оборудование: телевизор

Средства обучения: демонстрационные слайды (презентация), видеофильм, раздаточные материалы: текст (Приложение 1), карточки-задания (Приложение 2).

Тип урока: комбинированный.

Методы: словесные, наглядные, практические.

Ход занятия:

1. Организационный момент: приветствие, проверка готовности студентов, объявление темы урока, постановка цели и задач урока.

-Good day, dear students! Sit down, please! Good day, our guests! I'm glad to see all of you! Who is on duty today? Who is absent today? Students, today we'll speak about the seasons. I want you to take to a little journey to all the seasons. We'll talk about weather, will recite poems, guess the riddles. I hope you'll learn much new information about it and meanwhile, you'll be able to show your knowledge of English. And I want to tell you our plan for the lesson in short:

1. We'll travel to the wonderful country "Seasons" and get a lot of information.

2. We'll see video film about Nature.

3. I'll give you interesting tasks.

4. We'll play game.

5. Read the text.

6. Do some exercises.

Сегодня мы будем говорить о временах года, вспомним и будем угадывать загадки, высказывать своё мнение по заданной теме, читать, переводить, отвечать на вопросы.

Я предлагаю вам сегодня совершить небольшое путешествие по временам года, вспомнить их названия, поговорить, какая погода характерна для разных времен года. Перед нами, как перед принцессой из сказки «12 месяцев», за один урок промчатся все времена года.

Наша тема связана с обществознанием, русским языком, литературой и информатикой.

We must understand the importance of English as it is the international language. With the help of it we can easily read English and American literature in the original, develop friendship with foreigners, communicate with people while travelling; there are a lot of films in English and we can understand them without any help.

Мы должны осознавать значение английского языка как международного. С его помощью мы легко можем читать английскую и американскую литературу в оригинале, развивать дружбу с иностранцами; во время путешествий общаться с людьми.

One more important thing that we must remember is: English would help is in our future profession. The businessmen all over the world speak English, only English is used in their negotiations. Most firms, companies that deal with foreign clients take the people who can speak English.

Мы также должны помнить еще одну важную вещь: английский язык поможет нам в нашей будущей профессии. Деловые люди всего мира разговаривают на английском, только английский используется в их переговорах. Практически все фирмы и компании, которые имеют дело с иностранными клиентами, берут на работу тех людей, которые могут говорить на английском.

Now it is certain that English is the language of business, diplomacy, international relations and communication between people from different countries. Most educated people speak English rater fluently.

Сейчас можно с уверенностью сказать, что английский - это язык бизнеса, дипломатии, международных отношений и общения между людьми из разных стран. Большинство образованных людей бегло говорят на английском языке.

-Now, the first let's remember what we've learnt last lesson. Last lesson we had got a lot of information about the Sequence of Tenses. Your homework is to make the fifteen sentences for the theme "Sequence of Tense". Let's check up your homework.

T: When two Englishmen meet, their first talk is about weather. That's why you must be good at discussing the weather. Today we are going to speak about seasons and weather. So let's start our lesson.

-Students, let's watch the seasons. There are four seasons in year. Let's remember them. Please, look at the screen. Now, students, what kind of seasons do you know?

Seasons.

Modern people have not enough time to see the beauty of the world that surrounds them. W.H. Davies said in the poem "Leisure".

"What is this life, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare…"

Very often we just do not notice nature, its wonder.

There are four seasons: spring, summer, winter and autumn. Each season lasts three months. March, April and May are spring months. To my mind, spring is the best season of the year. Nature is awakening from its long winter sleep. The weather is fine. The temperature is above zero. The sky is blue, the sun shines brightly. At the beginning of April snow melts. Green grass appears. The fruit trees are in blossom.

Современный человек не имеет достаточно времени, чтобы увидеть красоту мира, который окружает его. В.Х. Дэвис сказал в поэме «Досуг»:

«Что значит эта жизнь, полная забот,

У нас нет времени остановиться и посмотреть…»

Очень часто мы не замечаем природу, ее красоту.

Существует четыре времени года: весна, лето, осень и зима. Каждое время года длится три месяца. Март, апрель и май - весенние месяцы. По-моему, весна - лучшее время года. Природа просыпается от долгой зимней спячки. Погода прекрасна. Температура воздуха выше нуля. Небо голубое, солнце святит ярко. В начале апреля начинает таять снег. Появляется зеленая трава. Фруктовые деревья цветут.

Summer is also a pleasant time. Pupils and students have their vacations. Grown-ups are mostly have leave in summer. Sometimes the temperature is about thirty-five degrees above zero. People used to swim, to get sunburn. Sometimes we go to the forest to gather mushrooms, berries and beautiful flowers.

Лето - также приятное время. Ученики и студенты на каникулах. Взрослые, в большинстве, идут летом в отпуск. Иногда температура воздуха поднимается до тридцати пяти градусов выше нуля. Люди обычно плавают, загорают. Иногда мы ходим в лес: собираем грибы, ягоды и прекрасные цветы.

In autumn the weather is not always the same. As a rule, the first half of it is warm and sunny. The trees are getting yellow and red. They look so beautiful! The air is so fresh! Autumn is a season of apples and different other fruits. But the weather is different in autumn. Sometimes it rains and sometimes cold winds blow. They drive the heavy clouds across the sky. When the wind stops the sky is clear again.

Осенью погода бывает разной. Как правило, первая половина осени теплая и солнечная. Деревья становятся желтыми и красными. Они выглядят так прекрасно! Воздух так свеж! Осень-время яблок и различных других фруктов. Но погода меняется осенью. Иногда идет дождь и дуют холодные ветры. Они гонят тяжелые тучи по небу. Когда ветер прекращается, небо снова становится чистым.

Winter is the coldest season of the year. A cold wind drives the heavy clouds across the sky. Large flakes of snow are falling covering the ground, the roofs of the houses and the trees. The rivers and lakes are usually frozen over. The coldest month is January. The temperature is sometimes thirty degrees below zero. When it is as cold as that it is really very unpleasant.

Зима - самое холодное время года. Холодный ветер гонит тяжелые тучи по небу. Падают большие снежинки, покрывая землю, крыши домов и деревья. Реки и озера обычно покрыты льдом. Самый холодный месяц - январь. Температура иногда доходит до тридцати градусов ниже нуля. Когда это происходит, то это действительно очень неприятно.

-Now we've learnt a lot of information about the Seasons. On the screen you can see the picture of seasons. Guess what is it?

(На слайде появляются 4 рамочки с цифрами 1, 2, 3,4; за ними скрываются времена года; студенты выбирают 1 из 4 загадок, рамка с цифрой переворачивается и появляется неподписанная картинка, студенты смотрят на картинки и называют то, что они увидели. Их задача - кратко рассказать о временах года.

5. Игра "Мозаика".
