Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку во 2 классе The Merry Go Round Cat

Внеклассное мероприятие «The Merry-Go-Round Cat» разработано по учебнику И. Н. Верещагиной, К. А. Бондаренко, Т. А. Притыкиной «Английский язык 2 класс»(1 часть). Цель данного мероприятия - обобщить знания по теме «Игры, спорт», выступая перед родителями с представлением по мотивам сказки. Кроме этого, в ходе представления дети рассказывают о своих семьях, а также поздравляют любимых родителей с приближающимся Рождеством.

Narrator: Mini is a kitten, a nice grey kitten with big green eyes. She hasn`t got a father, a mother, a sister or a brother. Mini hasn`t got any friends. She is an outdoor kitten. Poor Mini! She is nobody`s kitten.

She goes from house to house to look for a friend. On and on she goes and goes.

Suddenly she sees a boy.

Mini: Hello. I am Mini. And who are you?

Humpty-Dumpty: Hello, Mini! My name is Humpty-Dumpty.

Mini: Humpty-Dumpty? What is Humpty-Dumpty?

Humpty-Dumpty: Humpty-Dumpty is not a dog. He is not a puppy.Humpty-Dumpty is a toy boy. He is not from Russia. He is from Great Britain. He is a funny toy. Boys like to play with Humpty-Dumpty.

Mini: I want to play with Humpty-Dumpty too! I want to have a friend! Do you want to be my friend?

Humpty-Dumpty: Of course!

Narrator: Mini and Humpty -Dumpty are good friends. They go to the park. Children like to run, jump and skip in the park. They like to play hide-and-seek and leapfrog there.

Boy 1 : Hi, Mini!

Mini: Hi!

Boy 1: Can you play hopscotch?

Mini; Yes, I can

Boy1: Do you want to play with us?

Mini: With great pleasure.

Boy2:

Hide-and-seek we like to play

Oh, it`s fun, oh, it`s fun!

Leapfrog is a funny game!

Oh, it`s fun, oh, it`s fun!

Do you want to play hopscotch?

Yes, I do! Yes, I do!

And my friend likes to play tag,

And I too, and I too.

Boy 3

She likes to sing, she likes to dance,

She likes to run about,

She likes to skip, she likes to jump,

She likes to play and shout

Song " I want to ride my bicycle…"

Dear little boys and girls

What is better than the toys?

I think, sports are good for all,

You can run, play basketball,

Table tennis and football

You can jump and you can run,

You can have a lot of fun

Boy 5

School is over, we can play,

We can play the whole day,

Basketball and volleyball,

And the boys can play football!

Narrator 2. Then Mini, Humpty-Dumpty and the children go to the skating rink. Suddenly they see a big brown Bear, a Pig and a Fox.

Boy 1. Do you want to go to the skating rink with us? We can skate. It`s fun to be on the ice. Let`s go with us.

Fox: With great pleasure.

Bear: I`d love to but I can`t skate. OK… Let`s…

Fox: The ice is blue and nice. I can dance on the ice very well.

Pig: I am not a good skater! But I want to skate well! I want to play hockey!

Bear: I am big and clumsy! I can`t even stand on my skates! Oops! I`ve fallen down!

Fox: Let me help you!

Bear: I don`t like it! I don`t like to skate on the ice!

Fox: Don`t worry! Be happy! Let`s sing the song!

Song "This is the Way We Ski and Skate"

Pig: Mini, are you happy now? You have a lot of friends!

Mini: Yes, I am! But I don`t have a family! Do you have a family?

Children: Yes, we do!

Childrens` presentations " My family."

Mini: Oh, you are my good friends and now I have a family too.

Pig: Mini, do you know what holiday is coming?

Mini: No, I don`t.

Children: Christmas is coming! Mini, we wish you a Merry Christmas!

Song "We wish you a Merry Christmas!"

Children sing the song and present their parents with Christmas cards.
