Warm- up: Answering some questions the students will give their explanations to the tenses.

Students will try to answer the teacher's questions.

T: Good morning, boys and girls! Sit down, please. Glad to see you. How are you? You are going to have an unusual lesson.

Now let's make a circle and greet each other. Say your best wishes. I wish you good luck! Thank you! Take your seats, please.

Grammar theme:

Adjectives tell us something about a person or a thing. Adjectives can modify nouns (here: girl) or pronouns (here: she).

Adverbs tell us in what way someone does something. Adverbs can modify verbs (here: drive), adjectives or other adverbs.

Mandy is a careful driver. This sentence is about Mandy, the driver, so use the adjective.

Mandy drives carefully. This sentence is about her way of driving, so use the adverb.

2.Ex: 3bp.99 Write the adverbs for these adjectives.

3.Now choose an adverb from your list in 3b to complete these sentences.

Conclusion:

Use the adjective when you say something about the person itself.

Use the adverb, when you want to say about the action.

Pupils give marks to each other. If pupils from Group 2 think that Group1 has worked very well they raise red circles, if they don't think so they raise yellow ones.
