Цели:

- учебный аспект -

1. создавать условия для развития у учащихся компетентностей: учебно-познавательной, информационной, коммуникативной; развивать речевые умения в монологической форме.

2. Научить владеть способами взаимодействия с окружающими людьми, научить умению задавать вопросы; осуществлять продуктивную речевую деятельность.

3. Активизировать употребление ранее изученной лексики в речи учащихся.

4. совершенствовать навыки речевой деятельности учащихся.

- познавательный аспект - расширить страноведческий кругозор учащихся по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона»

- развивающий аспект - развитие способности к общению.

- воспитательный аспект - воспитание субъекта межкультурного взаимодействия

дидактический материал - презентация Microsoft Power Point «Welcome to London», аудиозапись учебного диалога, картинки «Достопримечательности Лондона»

Ход урока:

1. Приветствие. Организационный момент ( 2 min)

Good morning, my dears ! I am very glad to see you! Sit down, please. How are you?

Let's begin our lesson.

What day is it today? What is the date today? What the weather like today?

2. Фонетическая зарядка ( 2 мин)

Today we are going to travel to London. And first of all let's remember English sounds & words. Look at the screen & repeat after me all together.

[e] - ever, never, century, central

[a:] - art, film star, park, grass, plant, artist

[ei] - famous, lady, main, sailor

[i:] - leaving, tree, speaker, free

[ai] - sight, sign, right, bright, scientist, mind, guide

Last lessons we learned some facts about London, some places of interest in that city, some famous people.

Would you like to travel to London.

And now we are flying to London. Stand up please and do some activities together.

4. Развитие навыков просмотрового чтения ( 4 мин)

And now we shall read the story about interesting places of London to yourself for 4 minutes and then you will do some tasks.

London is the capital of Great Britain. There are a lot of theatres, cinemas, parks and gardens in London. Hyde Park is famous for its entertainments and its Speaker's Corner. Regent's Park is beautiful with its boating lake and its open-air theatre. You can see the famous fairy-tale hero, Peter Pan, in Kensington Garden. London is rich in museums and Art galleries. Madam Tussaud's museum has one of the largest collections of the wax models in the world. Tourists enjoy their visit to the Museum of the Moving Image. The history and magic of cinema and TV is explained there. Tourists in London always want to visit Westminster and see Big Ben. The famous clock stands near the Houses of Parliament. The symbol of Great Britain is Westminster Abbey. Londoners are proud of their city. It is one of the most famous and interesting cities in Europe.
