Тема: Past Simple. Regular and Irregular Verbs.

Цель: Повторить, обобщить, закрепить знания по пройденной теме.

8. Did you have a mobile phone when you were 9?

3. Today we will get unusual lesson. We will play a game. Let's devide in 2 teams.You are the 1st team and you are the 2nd team. And the third team is our guests. Name your team. Let's write down the names of your team. Choose the leader of your team. Our jury is .......... .

(1) The first task is:

I will give you the cards with verbs and you should choose the verbs into Past Simple and write down in your list.You will get 2 points.

Stay, went, played, get, made, said, visit, did, ask, stopped.

Which of them are regular verbs? (the 1st team)

Which of them are irregular verbs? (the 2nd team)

(2) The second task is:

Here you can see regular verbs. Put the verbs in the correct list. You will get 4 points.

In teams, make up sentences using verbs in the past simple. You will get 1 point for each correct sentence. The team with the most points is the winner.
