The aims:

  1. To talk about saigas and the influence of human activities on saigas;

  2. To practise asking questions.

Teacher:Good morning,students.I am glad to see you.The subject of our lesson is"Take care of saigas."You know,this year is announced as the Year of Saiga.And today we are going to talk about saigas and the influence of human activities on saigas,and we continue to practise asking questions.

You know,children,that we live in the world where there are a lot of ecological problems.Nowadays the global situation in ecology is serious you see.Many people all over the world are worried about it and discuss it in Russian,English,French and other languages.Not only grown-ups but teens.Today I d like to talk with you about one ecological problem-about saigas.Your task was to find the information about saigas and make reports.You were divided into three groups.I gave you three topics.It is high time to tell us about the given topics in brief and give suggestions how we can solve this problem.

One group reports, others-listen to,ask questions or add some information.But before we start listening to our reports,look at the screen to learn new vocabulary of the lesson.

1 Vocabulary of the lesson.

2.Presentations:a)The steppe is the home of saigas.

c)Hunting for saigas.

3.Teacher:I want you to look once again at the last pictures.How awful they are!After watching them I am not fine now. And you?What about your feelings?
