Тема урока: The Means of Travelling .

Тип урока: Урок изучения нового материала.

Вид урока: комбинированный урок.

Цели:

Научить учащихся рассказывать о путешествиях на разных видах транспорта.

Задачи:

Образовательные:

Активизировать грамматические навыки. Видовременные формы глагола. (Present

Perfect, Present Perfect Continuous, Past Simple)

Ознакомить учащихся с различными средствами передвижения во время путешествия.

Развивать у учащихся навыки монологической и диалогической речи по теме

«Путешествие. Виды транспорта»

Учить учащихся понимать объявления в аэропорту.

Учить учащихся читать прагматические ( ) тексты

Пополнение словарного запаса учащихся через самостоятельную подготовку

презентаций.

Воспитательные:

Воспитание понимания значимости знания английского языка.

Развивающие:

Дальнейшее развитие интеллектуальных способностей учащихся.

Оборудование: компьютер, презентации учащихся к уроку, карточки с разноуровневыми заданиями, картинки по теме.

Ход урока:

Организационный момент.

Good morning, children! How are you? Who is on duty today? What is date today?

  1. Фонетическая зарядка.

T: Repeat after me.

[ai] bicycle, liner,

[ei] plane, train,

[ i] ship,

[^] underground, bus,

[e ]a helicopter

Речевая зарядка:

Speedy car, ocean liner, on camel back, across the desert, on foot.

Well, young people, please, explain

how do you feel about travelling? How would you like to travel?

By what means of travelling?

P8 - As for me I would like to travel by speedy car.

P7-I would like to travel on horse back.

P9 - I would like to travel around the world by ocean liner.

P3 - to my mind travelling by air liner is the best way of travelling, because it is very fast and comfortable.

P1 - my dream is to travel across the desert on a camel back.

Teacher: So, the theme of our lesson today is …. right you are " Different means of travelling"

- Why do you think people travel?

P1 - They want to change their life.

P2 - They want to investigate the world.

T. - And what is your point of view, Abidulla?

P4 - To my mind they want to meet new people.

Revision . Активизация грамматических навыков (видовременные формы глагола

Present Perfect, Present Perfect Continuous, Past Simple)


Давайте вспомним какие обстоятельства времени сопутствуют различным

видовременным формам глагола.

Мы будем употреблять Present Simple, если в предложении имеются следующие

обстоятельства времени:

Ученики: last, ago, in 2000, действие никак не связано с настоящим.

А Present Perfect ?

Ученики : если в предложении имеются обстоятельства времени for, since, ever, never,

just, already, yet.

А если в предложении имеются обстоятельства времени с предлогами for или since то

используется Present Perfect Continuous.

Задание: Use Past Simple, Present Perfect or Present Perfect Continuous and open the

brackets.

I have ……. (never be) to the UK.

My mum ….. (come back) to Moscow last Monday.

The girls …….( clean) their rooms since 5 o`clock.

I……. (ride) a bicycle five days ago.

They….. (just buy) some toys.

He ….. (work) in the garden for 2 hours.

4. Развитие навыков диалогической речи.

- And now you will work in pairs and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different

kinds of transport.

Работа в парах. Учащимся предлагаются разноуровневые задания-ситуации на

карточках, затем они представляют свои диалоги перед одноклассниками.

Card 1.

You are friends. You are going to travel to Moscow. Discuss advantages or disadvantages

of travelling by train, plane. Chose the best way .

Remember to:

1.use expressions : I think, to my mind, as for me…,

2.express your attitude to different means of transport,

3.give your reasons,

4.find out your friend`s attitude and take it into account,

5.chose the best way of travelling

Sum up the discussion.

Card 2.

You are friends. You are going to travel to Moscow. Discuss advantages or disadvantages

of travelling by ship, plane. Chose the best way .

Remember to:

1.use expressions : I think, to my mind, as for me…

2.express your attitude to different means of transport

3.give your reasons

4.find out your friend`s attitude and take it into account.

5.chose the best way of travelling

Sum up the discussion.

Card 3.

Make up a dialogue about the advantages and disadvantages of travelling by train and by car.

Use these phrases .

4) you can eat in the dining-car

5) you can sleep comfortably

6) you can stop where you want

7) you can see the nature

8) you can make your own time-table

9) there are traffic jams

Make up a dialogue about the advantages and disadvantages of travelling by bus and by

bicycle.

Use these phrases .

3) it is a comfortable transport

7) there are traffic jams

Задания для слабоуспевающих детей - выстроить фразы так, чтобы получился диалог,

затем озвучить его.

It was all right, but I was a bit airsick.

How did you get to your relatives place?

Have you ever travelled by air?

Did you like the journey?

I took a taxi.

Yes, I have. I travelled from Min-vody to Moscow last summer.

Read and translate the sentences with these words given below.

1. When we arrive to the place of destination we must go to the check in place.

2. We can keep hand luggage with us.

3. The arrivals are the place where the passengers arrive.

4. In the departure lounge we wait till the number of our flight Is announced.

5. The plane to Moscow has taken off.

6. What gate are you boarding at.

7. The number of your flight is printed on your boarding pass.
