Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку в 5-классах.

Название: «Intellectual Marathon».

Сценарий проведения мероприятия.

Форма проведения: игра-соревнование.

Образовательные задачи:

1. Закрепить знания и умения, учащихся по изученным темам, расширить

общий кругозор.

Развивающие задачи:

1. Развивать умение работать в команде.

2. Развивать личностные качества: доброжелательность, чувство взаимопомощи, ответственность, сопереживание.

3. Тренировать память, внимание.

Воспитательные задачи:

1. Воспитывать интерес и уважение к культуре стран изучаемого языка.

Место проведения: кабинет английского языка.

Продолжительность мероприятия: 40-45 минут.

Участники: ученики 5-го класса, учитель английского языка в качестве жюри, ведущий (ученик 7 класса).

Оформление кабинета: на доске - название игры «Интеллектуальный марафон», карта Великобритании, квадрат с цифрами.

Раздаточный материал: карточки с заданиями.

Подготовительный этап: за несколько дней до игры учащиеся знакомятся

с условиями её проведения, преподаватель делит класс на команды, каждая

команда получает домашнее задание: выбрать капитана, придумать название

и девиз своей команды, изготовить именные значки.

Это позволит снять боязнь и будет способствовать созданию благоприятной психологической атмосферы.

Ход занятия.

1. Организационный момент. Приветствие ведущего.

Good morning, children. I'm glad to see you here. Now we'll organize a competition called ' Intellectual Marathon'. / раздаются звуки бодрой музыки/

Two teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the cleverest. It's time to introduce yourselves. / Обе команды, во главе с капитанами, представляют название команд, свои девизы, речёвку/

Ведущий: Today you have a good chance to improve your English during the

game. Our competent jury will count the points.

The game has 6 contests, they are:

1. The ABC game.

2. A magic 5.

3. The capital and the country.

4. Hidden words.

5. The right choice.

6. A crossword.

Ведущий: I wish you success. Be active and helpful.

Ведущий: The first contest - "The ABC game".

You'll get some letters from the English alphabet. Put the letters in the right order to get the names of the three countries situated on the island of Great Britain. / Показать на карте остров Великобритания./

You have one minute. You can get 5 points.

Choose the answer and show the corresponding card.
