Цель урока: совершенствование лексических и грамматических умений учащихся в устной речи

Задачи:

Обучающие

1. Активизировать грамматические навыки употребления конструкции to be going to do smth в разнообразных коммуникативных упражнениях;.

2. Организовать обучение и проверку сформированности монологической и диалогической речи по теме. ( Разговор по телефону. Планы на неделю)

3. Формировать умения читать с целью извлечения конкретной информации и детального понимания содержания.

4. Формировать умения аудировать с целью извлечения конкретной информации и детального понимания содержания.

5. Познакомить с биографией и творчеством Памелы Трейверс.

Развивающие

1. Развитие способности к догадке, к сравнению и сопоставлению, к формулированию выводов из прочитанного

2. Развитие познавательного интереса

3. Развитие мотивации к изучаемой теме.

Воспитательные

1. Формирование потребности учитывать статус собеседников в разных ситуациях общения и использовать речь, адекватную ситуации общения.

Ход урока:

1.Орг. момент.

I'm going to come in. May I? Thank you. Good morning! Sit down, please.

2. Речевая зарядка.

I'm going to write the date. It is the 5th of February. What day is it today? It's Tuesday. You are going to work hard at the lesson today, aren't you? Are you going to get a five today? And you? You all are going to get good marks. I'm glad to hear that. Let's start! First of all we are going to repeat the verb to be. Look at the screen and read the poem. ( слайд №1 )

You are Dan,

He is Peter,

She is Rita.

There is one more poem. Read it! All together!

Natasha, ask Nastya, what she is going to do at the weekend? So, what is she going to do? She is going to …... , isn't she? Is she going to read a book or …... ? Who is going to ….... ? When is she going to ….. ?

Look at the screen and say what Tom is going to do at the weekend? (слайд №2)

Let's work in groups of four. Ask one another about the plans for the weekend. Write down the answers into this card. Don't forget to write your names. 4. At the weekend we usually have some free time. We like watching TV, reading a book or meeting our friends. We often phone our friends and discuss our plans. At home I asked you to make up a dialog over the telephone. You have got two minutes. Repeat the dialogs! By the way don't forget to take your mobile phones! (2-3 пары учащихся разыгрывают диалог)

5. Do you know the author's name of the book "Marry Poppins"? Did you read it? Is it an interesting book?

Natasha is going to tell us about the author of this book. Listen and answer the questions:

1. Where is she from?

2. What books did she write?

3. What is she famous for?

4. Yesterday we read the part of this story. Open the books on page 59. Let's remember what Marry Poppins is going to do at the weekend? Let's do exercise 28 .
