Открытый урок по английскому языку по теме:

"The Royal Family."

Цель

1. Обобщить лингвострановедческий материт по указанной теме. Углубить и расширить знания по теме.

2. Совершенствовать умения и навыки практического владения английским языком по данной теме и по всем видам речевой деятельности: аудированию, говорению, чтению и письму.

3. Повысить интерес к изучению иностранного языка.

Оснащение: Карта Соединенного Королевства, газеты и журналы о королевской семье, флаг страны, картинки с изображением всех членов королевской семьи, достопримечательности Лондона, фломастеры, листы с небольшими текстами о членах королевской семьи, карточки с записью, что любит и что не любит королева, 2 одинаковых кроссворда на плакате, синие и красные звездочки.

Вступительное слово учителя:

Good afternoon, dear boys and girls. I am very glad to see you today. We are going to play "Who knows the Royal Family best of all". (Слайд1) There are two teams: the 7^th form and the 8^th form. They will show us their knowledge about Royal Family. I hope that our competition will be fun. I have a lot of stars here. For your answers I will give you these stars. At the end of the competition you will count all the stars you have received. Now let's begin our competition and introduce our teams to each other. Один из членов своей команды дает название команде. (Слайд2,3)

I.The first game.

Флаг Великобритании.

Дать полное название страны, где проживает королевская семья, нарисовать флаг этой страны и дать ему название.(Слайд4)

II. The second game.

"Who is this?" (Слайд5)

Угадать кто изображен на картинках. (Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Lady Diana Spencer, Prince Philip, Prince William, Prince Edward) (Слайды 6,7,8,9,10,11)

III. The third game.

"What does the Queen like and dislike?" (Слайд 12)

Что любит и что не любит королева.

На столе у каждой команды лежат, вразброс одинаковое количество карточек, на которых записаны, что любит и что не любит королева. Одна команда должна отобрать и прикрепить на плакат карточки со вкусами королевы, а вторая- карточки с названиями того, что не нравится королеве.

The Queen likes: horse racing, Scottish country dancing, jigsaw puzzles, bright red dresses, deerstalking, champagne, carnations, quiet evenings at home, the Beatles song "Yellow submarine ".(Слайд13)

The Queen dislikes: tennis, milk pudding, the cold, Charles Dickens, cigar smoke, sailing, listening to after-dinner speeches, ivy, snails. (Слайд 14)

IV. The fourth game.

"Crossword"(Слайд15)

Кроссворд. (Команды получают кроссворд на карточках и предлагается найти в кроссворде названия семи предметов, которые королева берет с собой, отправляясь в путешествие.)

V. The fifth game.

"Questions"

По очереди, каждой команде задается вопрос о королевской семье, на который они должны ответить. За правильный ответ, команда получает красную звезду, если же были допущены грамматические ошибки, то команда получает синюю звезду. Для каждой команды по 5 вопросов. (Слайд 16)

Генеалогическое дерево королевской семьи.

Командам дается родословное дерево английской королевской семьи с перечнем имен и лет жизни. Также даются командам фотокарточки с портретами членов королевской семьи. Нужно разместить (разрезать и приклеить) фотокарточки к родословному дереву.

Узнай героя. (Командам даются листы с 6 мини-текстами, на которых дано описание членов королевской семьи.)
