Who is Champion? The theme: Who is Champion? The aims of the lesson: -to develop the pupils interests to the subject of English.  -to develop pupils abilities in speaking, reading, listening, writing and   understanding. -To develop their memory and attention. -To teach pupils to love and respect the language they speak and to develop pupils' love for their motherland. The type of the lesson: competition The form of the lesson: non-traditional Methods of teaching: games, riddles, questions Visual aids:  slides, pictures, an interactive board Stages of the competition: 1) Presentation of themselves 2) To solve riddles (polyglot) 3) To make up sentences 4) Question -answer 5) To learn by heart the poems 6) Guess, What animal is it? 7) Topic. My family and my pet To sing a song 'Hello' We like to read, we like to play We like to study every day, We like to jump, we like to run We like to play, it's fun. Well, dear teachers and pupils. We begin our competition and let's meet participants. They are: The first team: Tigers. The second is : Lions I. Presentation of themselves. Participants will tell some words themselves. II.  Solving the riddles. The answers must be in  3 languages. 1) Білімнің жол басшысы, шәкірттің қолбасшысы (Мұғалім, учитель, teacher) 2) Жіпке ілдім мен өзім, кіп-кішкентай күн өзін (шам, лампочка, lamp) 3) Жұқа тақтай бөлшегі, ұзындықтың өлшемі ( сызғыш, линейка,ruler ) 4) Төрт қырлы өзі аппақ, тақтадағы ізі аппақ ( бор, мел, chalk) 5) Тілі жоқ өзінде, сөзі бар ізінде  (қаламсап, ручка, pen ) 6) Ілулі тұр кең алаң, керегімді мен одан жазып алам көшіріп, сүртемін сосын өшіріп (тақта, доска, blackboard) III. Ok, now i will ask you for some questions, please try to answer: 1) Which class are you in?  2) What  are the spring months? 3)What is the weather like for today? 4) What is your favourite  subject? 5) What is the nationality of China? 6) What is the capital of Great Britain? V. To learn the poems by heart? 2 pupils from 2 team. VI. Guess , what animal is it? cat, dog, horse, cow, elephant, tiger7 VII. Topic. My family and my pet. Speaking.
