Today we'll have an unusual lesson. We are going to speak about

Spring, one of the most beautiful seasons of the year.

When snowdrops bloom, When birds make their nest,

When nobody likes This is the season

To stay in the room. We all like best.

Spring is coming, spring is coming!

Flowers are coming too,

Snowdrops, lilies, daffodils

Now are coming too.

Spring, spring!

The trees are green,

Blue skies are seen,

Grey winter's gone away,

The world looks new and gay!

March is waking Green blades of grass,

Nature from her dreams, Yellow crocus shoots.

happiness. When I come, flowers begin to grow, green leaves appear on

translate them.

There are many holidays in spring. They are Nauruz, Maslennitsa, Easter,

Women's Day, the Day of the Native Language.

So, I'd like our teams to listen to the descriptions of these holidays and

write down their numbers.

1. This holiday is celebrated on the 21^st of March. It means New Year

Day. People sing, dance and choose the most beautiful girl.We give

presents to each other.

2. It is a traditional Russian holiday. People bake pancakes - hot and

round like the sun. People sing, dance, have a lot of fun.

3. It is one of the most wonderful holidays. We like it very much.

We give presents to the dearest people in the world.

4. This holiday is on the 26^th of April. It is the birthday of the great

Tatar poet. All children know his poem about the native language.

5. It is a religious holiday. People colour eggs. In Britain parents hide chocolate eggs and children look for them.

Many artists were inspired by the season of spring to create wonderful pictures. Russian painters Savrasov and Levitan liked this time of the year. Here are their

masterpieces: "The Rooks Are Here", "March", "Spring".

The weather in spring is very changeable. I wonder, if our teams can show the weather.

I have cards with different types of weather. The teams choose three cards and try to show the type of the weather. One team shows, the other team tries to guess. And we'll see what team is the best.
