Конспект урока

с использованием информационно-коммуникационных технологий (ИКТ) учителя английского языка МБОО СОШ № 10

Тема: «Спасите окружающую среду».

Цель урока: развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции учащихся.

Задачи урока:

1. Образовательная:

- систематизация лексико-грамматических навыков учащихся по теме;

- практика учащихся в выразительном чтении рифмованного текста.

2. Развивающая:

- развитие способности к распределению внимания, к догадке, к формулированию выводов;

- развитие навыков аудирования, диалогической и монологической речи;

- повышение познавательного интереса к иностранному языку.

3. Воспитательная:

- формирование ответственного отношения к природе, к проблемам окружающей среды;

- воспитание правильного экологического поведения, чувства гражданственности и патриотизма.

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, демонстрационный экран, доска, учебник, магнитофон, карточка.

Ход урока:

I. Подготовительный этап урока.

1. Приветствие. Организационный момент.

Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! Glad to see you!

Pupils: Good morning, good morning,

Good morning to you!

Good morning, good morning,

We are glad to see you!

Teacher: Thank you.

Pupils: You are welcome!

Teacher: Sit down, please. I hope you are OK today and ready to work hard and enthusiastically. Let's start our lesson and begin to answer my questions.

What date is it today?

What day of the week is it today?

What day was yesterday?

What day will be tomorrow?

Who is absent today? (ответы учащихся)

II. Основной этап урока.

I. Введение в тему урока.

Teacher: We have today an unusual lesson. It is an oral journal. It consists of 5 pages. Every page has own title and own tasks. Guess first the topic of our lesson. Guess the riddle. Разгадывание загадки с целью введения учащихся в тему урока. (приложение 1)

Pupil: Nature.

Teacher: Yes, you are right. Name the synonym of this word.

Pupil: The Environment.

Teacher: Pupils, look at two pictures. What is the difference between these pictures? Name, please, the theme of today's lesson.

II. Целеполагание.

Teacher: You are right. The topic of our lesson is "Save the environment". We live on the Earth and everything around us is a part of it. We depend on our planet, on the sun, on animals, and plants around us. But now our planet, animals and people are in danger. There are serious ecological problems on our Earth. Today we must pay attention to the most serious problems our planet suffer from and find the way out.

III. Систематизация знаний учащихся.

I page "The meaning of the word "Environment"

  • Актуализация лексических знаний учащихся.

Teacher: What is environment? What associations do you have with this word?

Let's start with the brain storm. («Мозговой штурм») You should write down the words and phrases which are necessary for today's lesson. (Работа с терминами. Учащиеся пишут слова на карточках, а затем один учащийся читает, а класс хором повторяет. Фонетическая зарядка).

I group: to protect, ecological problems, rubbish, dump, waste, poison, a disaster, to spoil, litter, shortage.

II group: filters, nuclear power stations, factories, plants, nuclear weapons, a government, industrial waste, acid rain, radiation, natural resources.

III group: the green house effect, sunlight, traffic jams, planes, cars, busses, noise, growth of population, suffer, breathe in, breathe out.

Teacher: What does the word "environment" mean? (кластер «Гроздь»)

Teacher: Yes, you are right. Now the ecological situation in the world becomes very serious with every passing year. Why does it happen?

Pupil 1: We don`t think about our future.

Pupil 2: We don`t care about our environment.

Pupil 3: We have a lot of problems.

Teacher: What problems of our planet do you know? (по очереди называют)

Pupil 1: Water pollution

Pupil 2: Air pollution

Pupil 3: Animals' problems

Pupil 4: Soil pollution

Teacher: Give some facts proving that:

Pupil 1: Rivers are dead

Pupil 2: Less fish in the rivers as a result

Pupil 3: A lot of tins and paper plates all other the place

Pupil 4: Much litter in the forests and parks

Teacher: Should we understand the importance of having our environment clean? Why?

Pupil: We, of course, should do it because we want to live and not to die.

Teacher: Let's do some tasks. Find the synonyms.

Teacher: Translate into English.

1. Животные, растения, моря и океаны нуждаются в нашей помощи.

Teacher: Remake these sentences. Use prefix re-.

2. I don't remember this song. Can you play the taps again?

3. If your computer doesn't work try to start it again.

4. My mobile phone doesn't work. I think I'll have to charge it again.

II page "How do you treat nature?"

Teacher: Many children like to spend their free time in the countryside. Look at the picture. Tell me please what happens when the children break the rules. Describe this picture. What do you think about these boys? (Развитие монологической речи. Работа в группах). (приложение 2)

Pupil: I think these boys are not friends of nature.

Teacher: And you? Are you a friend of nature? Do you help nature? How do you help nature? Agree or disagree.

Always put rubbish in a rubbish bin.

Don't keep dogs under control.

We must pollute the water.

All children like animals and birds.

People must plant trees to create homes for birds and squirrels.

Be a friend to fish.

I think it is necessary to help wild animals.

Teacher: Pupils, you are tired a bit, aren't you? Why not relax a little? (Физминутка)

III page "Poetry about the environment"

Teacher: There are many poems about the nature, animals, plants and the environment. Now I want you to listen to the poem about the environment and its problem. So open your books at page 65. Let's listen to and read the poem.

- Прослушивание стихотворения, используя магнитофон.

- Чтение стихотворения учителем.

- Чтение стихотворения учащимися в режиме «цепочка».

- Чтение стихотворения учащимися в режиме «столбик».

- Выразительное чтение стихотворения 2 - 3 учащимися класса.

- Беседа по содержанию.

4. Who is speaking in the fourth verse? (animals and birds)

b) Will you give the song a name? Choose the best one:

"PLEASE, STOP!"

Teacher: Children, it is not an ordinary poem. It is also a beautiful song and now we'll sing it all together. But first of all let's listen to it. (Учащиеся слушают стихотворение, переложенное на песню, и исполняют её). (приложение 3)

IV page "Environment groups"

Teacher: There are over 300 nature centres in British cities and more than 30 in London. Children go there with their teachers to study and enjoy nature. There are a lot of environment groups in Britain: "Friends of the Earth", "Greenpeace", "London Wildlife Trust", RSPCA and others. Listen to the text and give the names of environmental groups. Complete the table. (Аудирование) (приложение 4)

V page "Cinquains"

Teacher: I know you are interesting in different games, don't you? I would like you to play an unusual game "Cinquains". Make a poem. Work in pairs. 2-3 minutes for you. (приложение 5,6)

III. Заключительный этап урока.

1. Подведение итогов урока. Рефлексия.

Teacher: Now, pupils, let's make the Code of Ecological Rules for all people.

Pupil: - Don't break trees.
- Don't leave litter.
- Keep the country tidy.
- Respect the life and work of the countryside.
- Keep dogs under control.
- Put litter away.
- Grow trees and flowers.
- Don't frighten birds and animals.
- Don't cut wild flowers.
- Don't burn fires.

Teacher: Our lesson is coming to an end. In conclusion I'd like to tell you that the protection of nature is everybody's business. An outstanding English writer John Galsworthy said: "If you don't think about the future you will not have it." Let's think about the future. Let's keep our planet tidy and make it better place to live in. Let's save the Earth for ourselves and for the next generations.
