the lesson begings with the film about Astana

Questions :

- What is the Capital of our country ?

-Do you visit Astana?

-Do you like it ?

-Call interesting buildings and monuments in Astana.

-What is the topic of our lesson?

Presentation of the new vocabulary." A definition" game. Words are typed and then cut into words and definitions. Words are stuck to different places in the room, definitions are given to students. They go around the room trying to find their definition. The teacher helps where it is necessary.

capital city , popular, the tower Baiterek , symbol, guests, monument, famous, sights, visiting card, art gallery, aquarium, theatre, entertainment centre, museum.

Listen and read the text about sights of Astana

Questions :-call the sights of Astana

- What is a symbol of the city? - What is the height of the tower?

- What is there inside the tower?-What is there in complex "Duman"?

T : Create their own stories about sights of Astana using the picture and the text. The 1st group- the picture of Baiterek , the 2d - the picture of an entertainment complex" Duman" , the 3d - the park "Atameken". The students should use vocabulary of the lesson.

Every group presents their own story

to learn the words, to retell about the main sights of Astana

The students write what interesting things they know about sights of Astana , click their answers on the blackboard

the students see the film and answer the questions :



the students guess the theme of the lesson, then say aims and objectives



While listening students underline the new presented words. Then they answer the questions .

Students are divided into 3 groups , creat story, make plasters.

The students listen to other groups and make notes using criteria
