по английскому языку для 9-11 классе

«Intellectual Marathon»

Цели:

Практические: 1) Закрепить изученный материал

2) Подготовиться к контрольной работе

Образовательные: 1) Систематизация, углубление и расширение знаний

учащихся по изученной теме.

Воспитательные: 1) Поддержание интереса к предмету и его изучению

2) Воспитание познавательное активности

3) Воспитание у учащихся умения работать в группе

4) Воспитания учащихся в духе уважения к культуре

изучаемого языка

Оснащение:

2. Раздаточный материал(карточки, таблички)

3. ИКТ, слайды

Ход внеклассного мероприятия.

Учащиеся разбиваются на несколько команд по классам 9 «а», 9 «б», 10-11 «а», 10 «б», 11 «б». Каждая команда садиться за свой круглый стол, выбирает капитана и название команды.

- Good afternoon, children and our guests! I'm very glad to see you here. Now we shall organize a competition called "Intellectual Marathon". Five teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the cleverest. It's time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1^st team?

Встают капитаны команд и называют свое название.

- Well, I wish you success. Be active, honest and helpful!

Задание 1(разминка):

Выходят по 5 человек из каждой команды, и каждый игрок получает карточку с буквой. Игроки каждой команды должны вытроиться в ряд так, чтобы из букв получилось слово. (карточки с буквами- FOOD, MILK, SOUP, SALT, CAKE) Кто сделает это первыми, тот получает большее количество баллов.

- The 2^nd contest is called "Parts and wholes". I need 1 pupil from each team. You should combine these parts so as to get a popular name. Who will be the first? You can get 1 point for each right answer.

На доске даны имена прилагательные. характеризующие друга. Капитаны читают этот список в течение 2 минут, затем начинают по очереди перечислять те прилагательные, которые запомнили. Выигрывает та команда, чей капитан назвал большее количество слов.
