КОНСПЕКТ УРОКА АНГЛИЙСКОГО ЯЫКА В 5 КЛАССЕ ПО ТЕМЕ «ENGLAND AND ENGLISH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES». ТЕМА УРОКА «COUNTRIES OF THE LEARNING LANGUAGE».

на основе учебника английского языка для 5-6 класса EnjoyEnglish автор УМК М.З.Биболетова, Н.Н.Трубанева

Тип урока: изучение нового материала;

Цель урока: ознакомление учащихся со странами изучаемого языка и начало формирования лингвострановедческой компетенции;

Задачи урока:

Образовательная: познакомить с новым лингвострановедческим материалом;

Развивающая: развивать память, в том числе зрительную, внимание;

Воспитательная: воспитывать интерес к изучаемому языку;

Оборудование: учебник Enjoy English для 5-6 кл. общеобраз. учрежд.- Обнинск: Титул, 2012 г., компьютер, колонки, аудиоприложение к учебнику Enjoy English,презентация «English-speaking countries», проектор, экран.

Речевой материал: country, capital, island, state, language, nationality, Scotland, Wales, England, Northern Ireland, Edinburg, Canada, Cardiff, Belfast, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Ottawa, Washington DC, The USA, Wellington, New Zealand, Canberra, Australia.

Грамматический материал: общий и специальный вопросы, порядок слов в английском предложении.

- Well, I see. Let`s write down the date. Today we will talk aboutEngland and English-speaking countries. Write down the theme written on the blackboard.

- Good morning, Maria Nikolaevna!

- I am on duty today.

- Today is the 19th of March

- Everybody is here.

-Today is cold and snowy.

- No, I don`t. I like sunny and warm weather.

Children write down the date and the theme.

- What was the poem about?

- And what English-speaking countries do you know?

- That`s good. And now let`s learn more about countries where people speak English. Open your exercise books and be ready for the work.

- We will look to the screen, write the key moments about the country and then guess what was the country. Is the task clear?

Teacher reads the slides and pays attention to the information, which should be written in the exercise books.

- The poem was about different countries and nationalities.

Children name the countries which they`ve learnt before.

-Have you learnt anything new? Let`s discuss it in chain.

- Well, as for your home task be ready with your own presentations with one of the countries we`ve learnt today. You will work in groups, so divide the information with your colleagues. Write the points which should present in your works:

  • Country, the official name

  • The capital

  • The flag

  • The national symbols

  • 1-3 traditions

  • Specific features(animal, weather, climate, etc)

  • At least 10 slides

- That`s good. The lesson is over.
