У Господа не остаётся бессильным никакое слово, и вскоре в городе Вифлееме родился младенец Иисус. Для рождения Иисуса Христа Бог выбрал не дворец, а хлев и первым возвестил о рождении Его не богачам, а простым пастухам, которые первыми пришли поклониться, Спасителю человечества.

English people celebrate Christmas and Scottish people celebrate New Year. Housewives are usually busy preparing food for next day, and children are sent to bed with the words that, if they don't go to sleep, Father Christmas "comes at night, and then "fills" the stockings, which children hang on their beds. Or, in some families, the presents are put in the floor under the Christmas- tree in the living-room. Oh the New Year's Eve, when the families and friends get together and the clock strikes midnight, they join hands and sing "Auld lang syne"
