Plan of the lesson

Theme: Is sport exciting or dangerous?

Цель урока: закрепление знаний и умений по теме Спорт.

Задачи урока:

  • Практическая: повторить, обобщить и систематизировать знания учащихся по данной теме.

  • Развивающая: развивать способность к сравнению и сопоставлению фактов, развивать навыки понимания иностранного текста на слух и при чтении.

  • Воспитательная: способствовать формированию интереса к видам спорта стран изучаемого языка; умение работать в команде.

Цель и ожидаемые результаты:

Знать : грамматические структуры « Mixed Conditional », практиковать её в употреблении речи учащихся

Понимать: лексический материал по теме урока.

Уметь: вести диалог по теме урока, составлять кластер по теме урока, обсуждать в группе вопросы, касающиеся темы « Sport», работать в группе.

Основная цель для учащихся: самостоятельно поставить цель урока.

Тип урока: Завершающий урок по теме «Sport»

Оснащение урока: компьютер, ватманы, листы самооценивания,

Структура урока:

  • 1 блок: целевой - орг. момент, мотивация, постановка задачи

  • 2 блок: процессуальный - создание постеров, индивидуальная работа ( разноуровнеые задания)

  • 3 блок: аналитический - рефлексия и оценка урока.

Ход урока

I. Начало урока.

1. Организационный момент: Good morning, dear friends! Sit down, please. I am glad to see you. I hope everything is fine with you today. It is time to start our lesson.

(Проведение тренинга «Улыбка» и пожелание друг другу по кругу)

(Раздаю каждому ученику листы с критериальным оценивание)

2. Введение в тему урока, целеполагание.

What kinds of sports do you know? How do you think: sport is exciting or dangerous?
Do you like sport?
Do you prefer going in for sports or watching it on TV?
What kinds of sports are popular in Kazakhstan?
What national English sports do you know?
We are going to speak on theme Is sport exciting or dangerous? It's our main question on lesson. We must show your knowledge about unit "Sport". How do you think What aim of our lesson?

II. Ocновная часть урока.

1. Повторение лексики.

Teacher:

I want work with partner, read a stories and describe different sports games. You can see the numbers of the games on the blackboard and you will use the cards with the numbers on your desks.

1 - football

2 - baseball

3 - basketball

4 - cricket

5 - chess

  1. It is a game of two players. Each of them starts with sixteen different playing pieces to move on a board. The aim is to move your pieces so that your opponent's king will be taken. (Chess)

  2. This game is played on a court with a large orange ball. There are five players in each team. Two teams try to score goals by throwing a ball through a net fixed to a metal ring at each end of court. The players bounce the ball while running, and pass it to each other. The team with the most points wins. (Basketball)

  3. It is a game played between two teams and is played on a field with a bat and a small white ball. Each team consists of nine players. The teams take turns playing in the fields and batting the ball. The game has nine innings. (Baseball)

  4. It is a game played between two teams of eleven players. Players kick a ball around a field trying to score a goal. The team with the most points wins. This game is very popular in our country and all over the world. (Football)

  5. It is sometimes called an English national game. It is known that people played it in England as early as 1550. It is a very long game. International matches last for 5 days. This game is not played only by men. Girls and women play this game too. (Cricket)

2. Веддение и первичное закрепление лексики.

T: Can you give the definition to the word "dangerous'. Watch the video while thinking it over (Cлайд 1, видеоролик)

Ps: dangerous describes activity that is very extreme. ( Разбиваю класс на 2 группы использую слова связаная с темой урока "exciting, dangerous")

T: All the pictures show extreme sports. (Слайд 2)

T: Can you name these sports?

Sky surfing

Skydiving

Ice diving

Ice climbing

Skiboarding

Snowboarding

Bungee jumping

Base jumping

Snow rafting

White-water rafting

Street luge

Zorbing

Think and say what they all have in common.

Would you agree that all of them are sports? Why? Why not?

What attracts people to these sports?

3. Speaking.

T: Each group have a task. The first group must to discusse question: Why is sport a dangerous?

The second group must to discusse question: Why is sport a exciting?
