The aims of the lesson:

1. Practical: to develop speaking habits and writing skills.

2. Bringing up: to appreciate your time and to do everything in time. Methods of the lesson: explaining, questionnaire, individual work.

Visual materials: Student's book, CD recorder, pictures.

Skills: speaking, writing, listening.

Procedure of the lesson:

b) Checking up the home task

• What was your home task?

2. Introduction of the new theme

• Today our theme is «My country»

• Lets open your books on page 12, and look at the picture. What can you see in the picture? And what is this country? Ok, the first of all we listen CD and then continue our lesson.

1. Listen from CD the text and read one by one and translate.

3. New words.

• Teacher reads the words aloud

• Pupils repeat after teacher, and write down them in the copybooks.

• P 13, ex 2c. You are first listen CD about description of a mystery man, Mr X and find him in the picture. If you find him just raise hand. Listen again. Are you right?
