Урок английского языка по теме: «Добро пожаловать в Россию!»

Цель урока: взаимосвязанное коммуникативное и социокультурное развитие школьников средствами иностранного языка и ИКТ.

Социокультурный аспект - знакомство учащихся с достопримечательностями Москвы, Санкт-Петербурга, Курска; расширение их лингвострановедческого образования.

Развивающий аспект - развитие способности осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия, развитие творческих способностей учащихся, способности к сравнению и сопоставлению полученных знаний, способности излагать полученный материал; умение проектировать.

Воспитательный аспект - воспитывать культуру общения и поведения, развитие дружеских отношений в классе, воспитание умения слушать и принимать мнения другого человека, формировать потребность в коллективной работе, готовность участвовать в межкультурной коммуникации.

Учебный аспект - формирование коммуникативной компетенции и расширение страноведческого кругозора учащихся, активизация изученного лексико-грамматического материала, развитие речевой активности; формирование умения анализировать, систематизировать, обобщать полученные знания; формирование навыков самоконтроля; повышение ИКТ - компетентности учащихся.

Оснащение урока: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер.

Ожидаемые результаты:

Ожидается, что в ходе уроков учащиеся научатся обобщать, систематизировать, интерпретировать культуроведческую информацию и в дальнейшем использовать её на практике для межкультурного общения. Более того, использование ИКТ-ресурсов на данном уроке значительно повысит мотивацию учащихся к изучению английского языка.

Ход урока

I. НАЧАЛО УРОКА

1) Орг. момент.

Hello, boys and girls! I'm glad to see you! Sit down, please.

(Обоснование темы и целей урока):

Today we are going to invite our English friends to our country and to make a virtual excursion around Russia. You'll try yourselves as guides. We'll know something new about our country and its sights.

Let's start our lesson.

2) Речевая разминка:

- The weather is fine today, isn't it?

-Do you like to go to school?

-Why do you like to go to school?

-And what about you?

-What subject do you like?

3) Фонетическая зарядка:

T.: Let's practice the English sounds. Please, look at the screen. There you can see two tongue-twisters. The first sound is [k]. Let's repeat it after me. Write down the tongue-twister.

Take care not to make many mistakes if you bake those cakes.

II. ОСНОВНАЯ ЧАСТЬ

T: Now it's time to invite our English friends to Russia. Today we are going to have a virtual excursion around Russia. OK! Let's start!

S.: Hello! I'm Polina. I'm 10. I'm from Russia. Russia is my country. It's the biggest country in the world. There are many mountains, rivers, lakes and forests in Russia. The nature of my country is very rich.

T: Please, look at the screen/ The first station, we are going to visit, is Moscow.

S.: Hello! I'm Stas. And I'm Helena. We are from Russia. It is my country. The capital of Russia is Moscow. Moscow is one of the biggest and most beautiful cities in the world. Moscow stands on the Moskwa-River. The Kremlin is the heart of Moscow. There are a lot of theatres, museums, cinemas and other places of interest, e.g: the Tretyakov Art Gallery, Red Square, the Bolshoi Theatre, the Moscow State University

T.: The next station is Sankt Petersburg.

S.: Hello! I'm Nikita. And I'm Leonid. St Petersburg is the north capital of Russia. It's my native town. St Petersburg is a city with a rich history. It's a beautiful city. There are a lot of places of interest there, e.g. Hermitage, Peterhof, Bronze Horseman, St. Isaac's Cathedral.

T.: And it's the time for having a rest.

Clap, clap, clap your hands,

Clap your hands together.

Stump, stump, stump your feet,

stump your feet together.

Touch, touch, touch your ears,

T: The last station of our project is our native town Dimitpovgrad.

S.: There are many beautiful cities and towns in the world. But there is no place like home. Dimitrovgrad is a cultural centre of Russia. I love my native town because I was born here and live with my parents. There are many beautiful buildings and places of interest in my town:
